At Hotwire, the Program Director leads a client portfolio, managing accounts and account teams, taking a leading role in strategic and creative and thinking, planning and new business.
The Program Director is a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual – in addition to being a team player with nurturing and mentoring tendencies. This candidate should be able to effectively manage team members working on their accounts through tactics such as fostering their professional growth; taking line management responsibilities for junior members of the team; giving instruction and guidance in PR skills; completing 1-2 executive workshops per year; and informing management of any major account team situations and in turn, working with the management team to resolve those problems.
This candidate should possess a solid network of trade and business press contacts and proven writing skills. The program director should also have solid new business experience, a great track record of building rapport and relationships, and experience of managing client budgets.
Candidates for this position should demonstrate consistent presence with the ability to deliver quality work at all times. Organization to detail is a must.
